Our "Opening Olympics"

To kick off our 2012 school year, Brandy arranged a morning at the park that took home the gold!  Honoring the Olympic Games, the kids learned about (and participated in) pint-sized versions of the most challenging sports--from the Long and High Jumps, to the ever-popular Relay Race (and much more fun in between).  We all walked away confident that we're raising Olympians :o)

Let The Games Begin!

Long Jump

Konnor's GIANT leap for kidkind
Go go Gadget Legs!

"10"'s Across the board for Zane's perfect form!

She looks amused.

(Note the faces of fear and trepidation in the background...lol)

No moms or young children were harmed in the making of this photograph.

Ping Pong (Quickly Turned Target Shooting)

Amount owed to Julie for the shot: $0.25  Laughs we had when shot pegged Josh in the face: Priceless.

Caught that sadistic grin, Mister!

Our Summer Fun "Ben Doll"

Water Torture

...What?  That's not an Olympic Game? (muahahahaha)

Zane pulled through; his patriotism still intact

Isaac survived; unfortunately, one egg on his shirt did not

Closing Ceremonies

"Why do we hang around these people again?"-Jack

Weapon of Choice...

...Instrument of Peace

FYI: The girls hid when I went to take a group pic of them...rebels that they are...
